Outwell are a fantastic tent brand from Denmark. They really know how to make tents with all those well thought out details. I will list some below. The view out the front of the tent with the curtains down is fantastic. Great for those days in the rain when you can sit and watch the world. It sleeps 5. Although I would say it is perfect for a family of 4 because you don’t need the separate second bedroom, thereby maximising the living space and those views. It is larger than it looks in the pictures at 2.5m wide and 3.8m long. The carry case is a sensible size 78 x 40 x 42 cm and packed away weighs 26.2 kg. I say sensible because we “upgraded” to an air beam tent and it weighs over 42 kg and needed us to buy a bigger car. It has been a brilliant tent and we are sad to see it go. It cost £1000 when new. Early on a couple of poles split (annoying at the time) but having replaced them (and buying a large pack of spares) there hasn’t been any breakage since.
